Program Proposals
Jefferson County Public Library provides free programming to patrons of all ages as an integral part of our services. Programs consistent with the Library's mission, goals and objectives are developed to respond to emerging community interests and to sustain demonstrated interests and demand.

If you are interested in presenting a program at a Jefferson County Public Library location, please review the information below and then submit your proposal. You will be contacted if the Library is interested in pursing the program you have proposed. If we are unable to use your proposal at this time we will add your information to our performers database for future consideration.

Scheduling Timeline
Programs are scheduled as far as a year ahead. If you are interested in being a presenter, please submit your information as far in advance as possible.

Program Publicity
Program information may appear on the Library's web site, in news releases, on flyers and in the Library's print or e-mail newsletter. Publicity for library programs is done at least three months prior to each program.

If you have any non-returnable brochures, photographs, publicity or other materials about your organization or program, please mail them to:

Contracts and Payment
If your program is approved, you will be contacted and a contract for services will be created. Jefferson County Public Library mails payments for programs 5-10 business days after the completion date of the program. If you are scheduled for more than one program during a specific month, you will be paid in one payment for all the programs completed during that month.

I have read the above guidelines and am ready to submit a proposal.
