Bookmobile Coming to Ken Caryl

by:

Ken Caryl residents of all ages will be getting an additional library: the JCPL Bookmobile! Starting July 12, we will be in the Safeway parking lot at Ken Caryl Ave. and Shaffer Pkwy. every Saturday, from 12-4 p.m.

We know our patrons in the southern end of the county are in need of more library service, and since a physical library isn't able to be built right now due to budget constraints, we'll be using the Bookmobile for the time being. This will allow us to expand access to materials and resources to residents in that area.

You'll be able to use the Bookmobile for our most popular services: checking out and returning materials; placing and picking up holds; and accessing information about other library services. The collection will hold more than 1,200 items for patrons of all ages in a variety of formats—books, DVDs, and audiobooks.

You can start using the Bookmobile as a pickup location for holds and requested items beginning July 12, by choosing "Bookmobile" in the drop down menu from the catalog. Use your existing JCPL library card or sign up for one on the Bookmobile.

We hope to see you there!
