Watch out folks! As if all the rain this week wasn't enough, the Friends of Jefferson County Public Library's Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale splashes down at the Jeffco Fairgrounds May 30-June 1. You’ll be swimming in more than 100,000 books, CDs, DVDs, videos, and audiobooks, with prices ranging from 50 cents to $2.50 on most items. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free!

The Friends of Jefferson County Public Library Preview sale takes place from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29 and is open to Friends members only. Join today or join that night at the door. Sunday is Bag Day, where for just $6, you can fill a grocery bag with books.

For more information or to volunteer, call 303-403-5075 or email friends@jeffcolibrary.org

As always, your purchases will benefit children and teen literacy programs.
