Eight very talented kids wowed the crowd at the 1st Annual Columbine Library Talent Show on Monday the 24th. The audience was treated to a variety of talents including a martial arts demonstration, choreographed dance routines, guitar-playing and some fantastic singing. We hope to make this an annual event, so start practicing your act for next year, now!

Jefferson County Open Space (which started 40 years ago as a grassroots volunteer initiative) includes more than 52,000 acres and 210 miles of trails. There's a park for everyone, whether you want to picnic along the creek at Lair o' the Bear or climb to the location of the ill-fated Summer White House at Mount Falcon. You can even pick up free trail maps at most Jefferson County Library locations.
