“The mission of the Foundation and Friends is to enhance literacy programs at Jefferson County Public Library,” said Foundation Executive Director Natalie Martinez. “We expect this year’s Fall Whale Sale to generate more than $65,000 that will support library programs for kids, teens and adults across the county.”
Want to avoid the masses? Saturday is a great day to come for leisurely shopping without the big crowds that attend Friday and Sunday morning. Sunday is Bag Day, where $6 buys as many items as will fit in a grocery-sized bag. Additionally, for just $5 you can purchase unopened boxes of paperback romance and hardback fiction books during the entire sale.
Bert’s Curiosity Corner has an eclectic collection of vintage books and an extensive assortment of books on Colorado and western history. These books are individually priced.
